- Fusion Flag Football has a very unique approach that will introduce players to the fundamentals of the tackle game, through drills in practice, while playing all games in a flag football format. All tackling instruction will tackle place on our football equipment and dummies, no helmet required and no player to player contact.
- Players will learn the fundamentals of the game including throwing, catching, tackling, offensive and defensive positions, and football X's & O's and terminology.
Grades/Divisions: RISING - K, 1st & 2nd Grade, 3rd & 4th Grade and 5th & 6th Grade
Number of Players on the Field: 5 v 5 (there will be a max of 10 players per team)
Dates: Sunday, September 12 - Sunday, November 7
Game Times: Sundays: 2:00 or 3:15 (*start times subject to change)
Game Location: Quioccasin Middle School (9400 Quioccasin Road, Henrico, VA 23238)
Practice Location:
- Collegiate School (103 N Mooreland Rd., Richmond, VA 23233)
- Monday - Thursday (each team will practice on the same night each week)
- Grades K and 1st & 2nd Grade will have an OPTIONAL weeknight practice. They will practice on Sundays before their games and coaches can schedule an optional weeknight practice if they'd like.
- Grades 3 & 4 and 5 & 6 will have ONE weeknight practice per week.
